2025 Competency in Contracting for Business Growth Workshop Series

The Competency in Contracting for Business Growth workshop series focuses on developing key skills for small businesses interested in placing bids with private anchor institutions and prime contractors. Each workshop includes up to 2 hours of technical assistance. Participants must be certified with Small and Emerging Business Development (SEBD) before attending. If you are not currently SEBD certified, please complete your free and simple application at your earliest convenience. All workshops will take place in person at Propeller, 4035 Washington Avenue.

Competency in Contracting for Business Growth Workshop Series

Participants will learn key post-award contract management skills, including how to create a Schedule of Values using the critical path method, develop project timelines, track progress with daily timesheets, and complete G702/G703 payment applications. The session also covers project profitability tracking and the importance of safety meetings and logs.
